Stirling

Thank you Bob and Julia for helping us stay in Stirling, Scotland!
Happy Three Kings Day, everyone!



 Here are a few fun facts about Stirling for Bob "Mr. Trivia" Lacaba: 

- Stirling was originally a Stone Age settlement.

- Kings Park is home to prehistoric carvings that can still be found.

- The city has been strategically significant since the Roman occupation, which ended in 409.

- Stirling Castle, occupied since 1110, is the oldest building in Stirling.

- The Church of the Holy Rude, Founded in 1129, it is the second oldest building in the city.

- The Holy Rude is one of the only two surviving churches in the United Kingdom to have held a royal coronation.
